Jennifer Skidmore is currently the Michigan Women’s Champion and has held the title for the last three years.  Jennifer has been intimately involved with Michigan Scholastic chess since 1986.  First as a player, winning several team championships for Kearsley schools, the 1988 Young Junior Championship, and the 1993 Junior Championship, and later as a tournament director.   Since Jennifer’s return to the tournament circuit, she has averaged more than two tournaments per month for the last 6 months. Jennifer is a regular at the club and always happy to play a game of chess.
